I believe in the power of community and the importance of empowering others. through this platform, I want to work to create meaningful environmental initiatives. In today's modern world, we've grown distance from nature. Reconnecting with nature is not always about perseving  forest or cleaning rivers its also about rediscovering our place within the ecosystem. When we reconnect with nature, we develop gratitude and a sense of responsibility to protect it.

 

My journalism and media background equips me with the tools to bridge that gab by telling stories that awaken awareness and compassion for the environment. As a Miss Earth finalist I will leverage my skills in storytelling, media and communications to raise awareness about environmental issues and solutions.

 

I would love to highlight the importance of the connection between our mental health and the time we spend with nature and animals. I always had a big connection with animals and nature I believe in the Rastafari culture where you connect and respect nature. I believe in going back to the beginning where kids played under the rain and in the mud. We need to bring kids out of social media and into nature.
